Need warranty zone panel Williams looking into warranty procedure Thermostats were randomly rebooting together. Tech support pointed me in the direction of communication bias. Went down that rabbit hole and didn't solve the issue. Removed zone panel from the equation, wired first floor stat directly to furnace and heatpump communication wires. Added refrigerant to the system. We will want to monitor this. No obvious leaks. 3-18-2025 Upon arrival, found zone panel blank. Tested transformer, it had failed. Range hood damper is also wired to this transformer. It appears to have been wired wrong and that's what killed the transformer. Powered on range hood and tested the pressure switch wire at the furnace with Ohm meter. Never got continuity. Because of this, I just wired the damper to stay open. Replaced transformer, added a 5A fuse to it. Ran stranded wire from transformer to zone panel. Based on these findings, decided to reconnect everything to original zone panel an

Diagnosed failed inducer motor on furnace #2. Also found failed blower motor capacitor. This furnace and AC is inoperable until repairs are made. IF repairs are made, a full check will need to be performed to verify a healthy heat exchanger. Sent proposal for repairs on furnace #2. Parts are in stock. Performed maintenance checks on furnaces 1 and 3 Furnace 1 is very close to end of life. Combustion readings are at the high end of acceptable values. Inducer and associated exhaust piping has been leaking for some time now. As a result of the leaking, there is a serious amount of rust. Furnace #3 is in the best shape of all of them, but still nearing end of life according to the combustion test results. We recommend replacement of all 3 systems. List of priority from highest to lowest would be: system 2, system 1, then system 3. All three systems are 22 years old.

Replace Daikin Translation Adapter under Daikin parts warranty Spent hours on the phone with Daikin tech support. First, the translation adapter did not resolve the issue. There are multiple issues with the system. Many are related to installation. The furnace is constantly getting error codes related to the blower motor. This is due to restricted airflow from incorrect installation. The thermostat wiring going through the wall and basement ceiling is of thr wrong type and there is no way to pull a new wire without ripping out the finished ceiling. Tech support had me measure the signal strength along the wiring and it was out of specification. Last, the outdoor unit is having issues that we cannot for certain pin point the cause. Tech support and I believe it is the control board for the outdoor unit. Perfect resolution may be impossible. True solution is to remove the Daikin equipment and install something completely different.

We have been a customer of Westin Air for four years now and recently had our old HVAC system replaced by Westin Air. They are the most professional HVAC company we’ve ever had with outstanding service and technical excellent. When I had a question about a new sound from our new system when turning on the furnace, Wes the owner personally came to the house to check it out (the sound was normal to the new system). What service! If you have any HVAC needs, call Westin Air.

My air conditioning stopped working. I called Westin Air and Heating, an LLC company in Westerville, OH. Seth, with that company, came out to diagnose our air conditioning problem. I had previously contacted Rightway, also a local Columbus, Ohio company, who told me my compressor was bad and that they had to order a part. From that point on, they never responded or scheduled a followup appointment. They also never responded to any of my calls, resulting in a lot of frustration. Hence I called Westin Air and Heat on the advice of a friend. Seth identified the problem which was that the compressor was not getting power. He replaced that piece ($118 approx. price vs a new compressor at probably around $1500), and we now have a properly working air conditioning system. Seth was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and honest. I will definitely recommend Westin Air and Heat any time I can. Can't say enough good things about them!
