Water is from a plumbing issue above the washer and dryer. Extensive water damage to ductwork. Water streaks are not from the furnace itself, but from above. Found furnace exhaust vent not glued. This is extremely dangerous. Glued the exhaust fittings that could be reached. Exhaust is routed through an abandoned chimney, cannot verify if the fittings are glued inside there. Drain from the furnace was installed incorrectly. Drain trap included with the furnace was installed in a manner that it would not provide the drain trap for the furnace drain. Cut apart drain and reworked it so the furnace is now trapped and vented per the installation manual of the furnace. Questioned the setup of the propane conversion due to the other installation concerns. Connected manometer to furnace control valve and ran the heat. Gas pressure was 5.6" it needs to be 10-11" Propane supply pressure would only allow for 9.6" max This is acceptable, but not ideal. Also insulated bare section of su

Upon arrival, furnace breaker and disconnect switch turned off. Red tag on furnace from Eco Plumbers stating intake pipe pulling near natural draft water heater and furnace unsafe to operate. Reading through the installation manual of the furnace, a one pipe, also know as Non-direct venting, is allowed with adequate spacing in the room with the furnace. This specific installation allows for non-direct venting, however, the manual requires that there be an elbow fitting on top of a no shorter than 12in piece of pipe. The pipe is there, just no elbow. Tested water heater hood for proper draft while furnace is operating. No issues found. Tested furnace area for carbon monoxide with system off, and while operational. No carbon monoxide detected during visit. Installed elbow on top of intake pipe per installation requirements.

Presented two estimates for two different humidifier installs. One for Aprilaire 600M bypass humidifier, and one for Aprilaire 700M fan powered humidifier. Both humidifier types will work with the heat pump system, although the 700M fan powered is recommended as it has less parasitic loss of capacity on the heatpump heating operation due to conditioned air not being recirculating through the hvac system.

We have used Weston air on several properties and the service is always professional and mechanically well done. The price is fair. What we like is that it’s very realizable,
We have been a customer of Westin Air for four years now and recently had our old HVAC system replaced by Westin Air. They are the most professional HVAC company we’ve ever had with outstanding service and technical excellent. When I had a question about a new sound from our new system when turning on the furnace, Wes the owner personally came to the house to check it out (the sound was normal to the new system). What service! If you have any HVAC needs, call Westin Air.
Service man showed up on time. Found part to be replaced and explained the problem. Also, gave us an overall status of the unit.
They all ways do a good job
My air conditioning stopped working. I called Westin Air and Heating, an LLC company in Westerville, OH. Seth, with that company, came out to diagnose our air conditioning problem. I had previously contacted Rightway, also a local Columbus, Ohio company, who told me my compressor was bad and that they had to order a part. From that point on, they never responded or scheduled a followup appointment. They also never responded to any of my calls, resulting in a lot of frustration. Hence I called Westin Air and Heat on the advice of a friend. Seth identified the problem which was that the compressor was not getting power. He replaced that piece ($118 approx. price vs a new compressor at probably around $1500), and we now have a properly working air conditioning system. Seth was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and honest. I will definitely recommend Westin Air and Heat any time I can. Can't say enough good things about them!
Excellent service!
